Nagarkot with Yoga 2N/3D

The hike to Nagarkot is an excellent short hike towards the eastern edge of the Kathmandu Valley. Starting and ending in Kathmandu, this yoga hike is very accessible, but surprisingly immersive. You will see Shivapuri National Park, walk through oak and pine forest full with rhododendron and orchids. On top of this you will also be able to see a spectacular sunrise over Mount Everest, Manaslu, Hiunchuli, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal. All up this hike is the perfect Himalayan escape from the hustle and bustle of kathmandu city life!

This is a yoga and medication hike. The word ‘Yoga’ is a Sanskrit word that derives from the Sanskrit root ‘Yug’; which means ‘to connect, join or balance’. In Yoga we join and balance mind, body and breath. As trekking is quite challenge for our breath, yoga really compliments trekking. In yoga we lengthen and stretch our breath and muscles, which is the exact opposite

Itinerary

Day 1
Kathmandu to Chisapani

Drive to Sundarijal
Hike from Sundarijal to Chisapani (5-6hrs)
Evening gentle Meditation/Yoga Class

Day 2
Chisapani to Nagarkot

Morning Yoga class at Chisapani
Evening /restorative Yoga class at Nagarkot

Day 3
Nagarkot to Changunarayan to Kathmandu

Early Morning yoga class at Nagarkot
Hike from Nagakot to Changunarayan Temple and drive from Bhakatapur to kathmandu .
