Itinerary

Day 1
Haridwar -Guptkashi(220kms/8-9hrs Drive one way)

Drive 8-9 hrs from Haridwar to Guptkashi, view Devpriyag and Rudraprayag on the way, upon arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.

Guptakashi:
Guptakashi, Gupta Kashi, or Guptkashi is a fairly large town located at an elevation of 1319 meters in the Keadr Kanda, in Garhwal Himalayas of Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand, India. It is built by regional stones and is situated in an enclosed courtyard. When the Pandavas were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shiva first concealed himself in Guptkashi but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath , Guptakashi a religiously important town of Uttrakhand as it houses ancient temple like Vishwanath temple and Ardhnarishwar temple.
Guptkashi Weather: Pleasent in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degrees celsius .cold in winters.

Day 2
Guptkashi-Kedarnath-Guptkashi(30Kms by road and 19 Kms Treks one way)

Wake up in the morning, after having breakfast visit Kedarnath .drive to Kedarnath enjoy Kedarnath darshan and drive back to Guptkashi overnight stay at a hotel in Guptkashi.

Kedarnath: Kedarnath is a town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and gained importance because of the Kedarnath temple.the temple is one of the four major sites in India’s Chota char Dham pilgrimage of Northan Himalaya. the temple was built by Pandavas and revived by Adi Sankaracharya in2000BC, Adi Sankaracharya came to Kedarnath with four of his disciples. however, he preferred to go the final 14 kilometers alone to Kedarnath temple. Kedarnath is seen as a homogenous form of shiva,’ the lord of Kedar Khand.one of the Skanda Purana(7th-8th- century0 which contains a story describing the origin of the Ganges river.

Kedarnath Weather: generally , it is cold and temperate in Kedarnath .the summers are much rainier than the winters in Kedarnath.the average temperature is 2.4 °C /26.4 °F

Day 3
Guptkashi-Badrinath(220kms/9-10hrs drive one way)

Early morning drive to Badrinath from Gupta Kashi (9-10hrs) upon arrival at the hotel in Badrinath later visit tapa Kunda tale deep into the hot water .have darshan of Badri Vishal aarti in evening .brahma Kapal is significant for pandan shraddha of ancestors (pitrus).according to legend Shankar discovered a black stone image of Badri Narayan made of saligram stone in the Alaknanda River. He originally enshrined it in a cave. the temple is approximately 50ft (15m) tall with a small cupola on top, covered with a gold gilt roof. Badrinath was re-established as a major pilgrimage site by Adi Shankar in8th century. it is the main attraction in the town.

Badrinath weather: Badrinath remains closed for six months from November to April. the temperature from May to June ranges around 18 degrees making it pleasant and comfortable. September -October is the post-monsoon season. July -august is the monsoon season.

Day 4
Badrinath -Joshimath - Rudraprayag (160kms/7 hrs drive one way)

Early morning visit to mana village which is very famous for the last tea shop (Vasundhara fall, Bhim pul, Vyas Ghupa, and Saraswati river) have breakfast.

Joshimath:
Joshimath, also known as Jyotrimath, is a city and a municipal board in the Chamoli district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.it is a gateway to several Himalayan mountain climbing expeditions, trekking trails, and pilgrim centers. the idol is brought down to Joshimath and installed in an ancient temple for people to worship. this is an ancient temple of Lord Bishnu Narsingh, which is considered established by Shankaracharya. as per local belief, the right hand of this idol has become as thin as hair. on the day it will break the mountains jay-Vijay (which are located on the way to Badrinath.

Joshimath weather: the temperature is highest on average in July, at around 11.5 °C /52.8 °F .in January, the average temperature is 6-4 °c /20.5 °F

Day 5
Rudraprayag-Haridwar(165kms /5-6hrs drive one way)

After breakfast transfer from Rudraprayag to Haridwar drop view Dhari Devi temples, Devpriya, and Rishikesh. Later drop at Dehradun Airport or Haridwar railway station.

Rishikesh: Named after the Lord Vishnu, Rishikesh is a holy city for Hindus. located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India it is also known as the yoga center of the world and is home to many world-renowned ashrams. Rishikesh styles itself as the ”yoga capital of the world “, Hindu sages and saints have visited Rishikesh since ancient times to meditate in search of higher knowledge. the fast following Ganges is surrounded by forested hills inside the city. apart from the spiritual and yogic teachings, the town is also famous for adventure activities like white water rafting and kayaking in the mighty Ganga, bungee jumping, camping, mountain biking, rock climbing, and zip-lining.
