Overview

Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs), and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. In the High Himalayas, peaks such as 7,326m Jomolhari are popular trekking destinations. Paro Taktsang monastery (also known as Tiger’s Nest) clings to cliffs above the forested Paro Valley.

Bhutan 5N/6D

Day 1
Arrival at Paro and Transfer to Thimpu

On arrival at Airport. You will be welcomed and transfer to Thimpu by our representative, the modern town of Bhutan. Depending upon your arrival time in Thimpu, we try to cover the sightseeing before the sunsets.
Your day will end with dinner and downtime.

Day 2
Thimpu

After Breakfast proceeds on to visit Thimpu valley. Go on a full-day tour around the main city visit Trashichhoe Dzong is a Buddhist monastery and fortress on the northern edge of the city of Thimphu in Bhutan. After that drive to Arts and Crafts School, famous for traditional thangka painting.
End the day with dinner in Thimpu.

Day 3
Paro to Punakha

After having breakfast, go on a half-day tour around the city, visit the buddha dordenma statue, the largest Buddha statue in the world. After lunch, you will travel to the town of Punakha about 3 hours away across Dachula pass(3100m).
Overnight at the hotel in Punakha.

Day 4
Punakha To Paro

After Breakfast visit Punakha Dzong it is the second oldest and second largest dzong in Bhutan and one of its most majestic structures. and Water Water Rafting one of the very cool things to do while in Punakha is to go white water rafting on the Mo Chhu River and drive 45min upriver to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Temple. It’s a short, scenic walk through the rice field to this temple. After Lunch in Punakha, It is a long drive to Paro.

Day 5
Paro: Hike to Tiger's Nest

After breakfast, visit National Museum is Butan’s premier museum, and hike to Taktsang Monastery also called Tiger’s Nest, which is the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. The excursion to the Monastery takes about 5 hours for round trip.
Overnight at the hole in Paro.

Day 6
Paro-Depart

After Breakfast drive to the airport for flight to onward destination.
