Bardia Jungle Safari 3N/4D - 4 Days

The Bardia National Park lies in the mid-far western region of Nepal and is the largest most unspoiled wilderness area in the Terai. It covers an area of 968 sq km. The park, a sub-tropical jungle, is thickly forested by trees and carpeted with grass, savannah, and riverine vegetation. The Churia border the north, the Karnali River the west, while the Babai River cuts its course through the middle of the park. On the southern fringes are the villages of the indigenous and unique Tharu people of western Nepal. Considered as one of the most picturesque national parks in Asia, the Bardia National Park is teeming with rich and diverse flora and fauna. The park is home to the largest population (per sq km) of the elusive Bengal Tiger and there are 30 more species of other mammals, such as Bears, Monkeys, Civets, Hyenas, Wild Dogs, Otters, Wild Boar, leopard, and Deer. It is a regenerated habitat for endangered animals.  There are more than 350 species of birds which include the cormorants, egret, stork, geese, jungle foul, kingfisher, and so on making the park a true delight for bird watchers.

Itinerary

Day 1
Flight From Kathmandu to Nepalgunj & Drive to Bardia National Park

Early morning flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and Drive to Bardia National Park by private vehicle and transfer to hotel, where you will be given a short briefing about the activities that you will be engaged from next day.
In the evening, you will explore Tharu village.
Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 2
Visit Bardia National Park and Enjoy Jungle Walk

After having breakfast, start a full-day jungle walking to National Park. You will see one horn rhino, wild elephant, most probability tiger, and other wild animals back to the lodge and overnight stay.

Day 3
Bardia Jungle Activities:- Canoe riding in Karnali River

After having a good breakfast, drive to the Karnali river. Start canoe riding on the Karnali River. The river allows you to spot wildlife, especially the endangered freshwater Gangetic Dolphin, Crocodile, exotic birds. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4
Drive to Nepalgunj and Fly back to Kathmandu

Early morning birdwatching or explore the surrounding village. and departure to Nepalgunj to catch the flight to Kathmandu
