Travelers follow the Langtang Valley Trek itinerary for the first phase of the journey. This route offers you multiethnic culture and traditions. You will pass through the cultural community of the Brahmins and Chhetris in lower areas. As you gain altitude you will find Gurung and Sherpas.

The Langtang route has ethnic and cultural vibes throughout the journey. you will see plenty of prayer flags and Chanting around the Stupas and Chortens. The peak altitude has its spirituality. you will also pass through plenty of Suspension Bridge and wild forests. Langtang National Park covers the entire trail. the forest protects its beauty from rhododendron to Tundra vegetation.

Trekkers reach the Kyanjin Gompa and hike Kyanjin Ri before heading towards Thulo Syapru. The itinerary up to the return trip to Lama Hotel is similar. Yet, the journey takes an uphill turn towards Thulo Syapru from Lama Hotel.

Langtang National Park

Langtang National Park is one of the major National Parks in Nepal with a good history and Growth. It is conserving the entire Langtang Region to protect the natural Habitat. They also preserve the aesthetic beauty of the Langtang Region which is best introduced to the trekkers.

In Langtang National Park, the Gosainkunda Lake, Langtang Valley, and Helambu are all well-known tourist attractions. You will pass by the two major locations covered by the National Park. Exploring the local culture and going on hikes and climbs are among the activities. Langtang protects a variety of species that are on the verge of extinction.

  • Langtang Region protects a wide range of endangered species. It has made successful conservation of endangered species like the red panda, wild dogs, musk deer, and langurs.

Lauribinayak Pass

Lauribinayak pass is the highest point to reach during Langtang Gosaikunda Trek. The altitude of 4300m pass is often considered easy by trekkers. The destination provides you with a magical experience with a panorama view of the Langtang range. You will get surprised to see Ganesh Himal Range and Manaslu Range over Langtang Valley.

The lower portions are interesting as you will see two mythical and spiritual lakes, Gosai Kunda and Bhairav Kunda. There are even more lakes with beautiful aesthetics that serve spirituality and positivity. Lauribinayak Pass creates a different bond with nature. Gosaikunda Lake

Gosainkunda Lake is a holy lake for both Buddhists and Hindus. It is the perfect place where one can witness the great harmony between these religions in Nepal. According to the ancient myth the lake was formed after Lord Shiva struck his trident on the rocks.

During the elixir mining from the ocean, lots of good and evil things got mined. Evil things engulfed an entire universe. Thus, all gods and goddesses along with demons asked Lord Shiva for help. The god swallowed the poison and kept it on his neck which is why his neck is blue and also known as Neelkantha (Blue Neck). 

Legends say that those who dip in the water of Gosaikunda will have their all sins flushed out. Every year, thousands of visitors pay pilgrimage visits during Buddha Purnima and Janai Purnima. They take a holy bath at Gosaikunda and offer the rituals and Homa.

Moreover, the scenic beauty of the surroundings makes this place one of the hottest tourist destinations. Travelers from across the globe trek to this lake either for natural prospects or for cultural and religious significance.

Tamang Heritage Trail

The area covers the cultural and ethnic Lama and Tamang people. These people follow Buddhism and Hinduism. They have unique cultures representing the Tibetan and Nepalese unification. Thus, many people also want to know more about these people's lifestyles.

The route is very much important to understand the Tamang Heritage. There are many villages along the way. The trail resembles the ceremony, spirituality, and culture of unique hidden tribes. Manes, Pagodas, Chhortens, and monasteries unify the culture between Buddhists and Hindus. The entire trail represents the great ancient Buddhism.

You will stay at the unique structure representing the Tamang stay. People here constructed the house for themself and later turned to Tea House for the Trekkers. These stay and their foods are the unique aspects to experience during and forever.

Itinerary

Our airport representative will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu. We will discuss the trip plans and introduce you to your trekking guide. All the permits will be finalized. In the evening the agency will host the welcome dinner.

    Kathmandu is Nepal's traditional heart and has been a popular tourist destination since the country opened its doors to visitors. the city is a tidy blend of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, and Western influence. The two key nearby cities of Patan and Bhaktapur have a lot of cultural and religious significance in Nepal's environment. A half-day guided tour will take you to Pashupatinath, Nepal's most famous and largest Hindu shrine, Boudhanath, Jalnarayan, a sleeping Vishnu, and Swoyambhunath Stupa, Nepal's largest Buddhist stupa.

    Early in the morning, we will take the private vehicle towards Syaprubesi. In the evening we will stroll around the town or hike downhill to nearby River shores and get the beautiful perspectives of mountains as well as hills.

    We will start our walking journey on this day. After crossing the suspension bridge nearby the junction of Bhotekoshi River and Langtang River we will walk through green lush forests of maple, oaks, bamboo, and alder. We may encounter some wild animals too like wild boar, black bear, monkey, etc. Moving further ahead, the path traverses a river and a bridge. And ascending along the path, we again traverse a steel suspension bridge (2000 m) over the Langtang Khola. The trail further moves further on to the north of the Langtang River along with the eye-catching views of waterfalls. We after that, get there at Changtang usually known as Lama Hotel.

    Day 5:Lama Hotel – Langtang Valley

    On this day we will have to walk for about 5 hours. From Lama Hotel we will have to walk on the well-organized trail through green lush forest. In two hours we will reach Ghoda Tabela village. We will show our permits and take lunch before walking further towards Langtang Village. The splendid scenery of the Langtang range mountains helps us forget all the pain endured during trekking.

    We will have to walk on the grassy meadows today and enter the more Himalayan landscape area today. There are numerous landslide-prone areas on the trail. Therefore, you will have to walk uniformly and within the sight of the trekking guide. There are numerous confusing paths where you might get lost if you don’t heed the instructions of the trekking guide.

    We will retrace the same route of ascent back to the Lama Hotel after breakfast. Before breakfast, we will walk uphill to the top of Kyanjin Ri. It is the highest point during our trekking. We will be getting the best panoramic view of the mountains.

    We will trek through the villages of Lama/Moktans Villages. There are numerous monasteries and chortens. This is the cultural and natural excursion day.

    This is the most arduous day of trekking. It is completely uphill walking. There is the spectacular scenery of mountain vistas. All the tiredness will eventually vanish once we check in at the teahouse of Lauribinayak.

    This is the most sacred and pristine day of trekking. Explore the lakes around the place and find out the various myths regarding the formation of lakes.

    We will then walk almost the whole day downhill to the town of Dhunche. This is the last day of trekking. Therefore, we will enjoy ourselves in our lodge with the trekking crew members.

    We will take the private vehicle back to Kathmandu. The evening is free for you to explore on your own around the eateries and shops of Thamel. The agency will organize the farewell dinner for you.
